Dr. Demaris Raimundo grew up in Orlando, Florida, and developed a deep love for veterinary medicine from a young age. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Florida, her family moved to New Smyrna Beach, where she fell in love with the tight-knit community and local businesses. She is excited to build long-term relationships with the pets and families in the area.
Dr. Raimundo earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2025, completing her clinical training at Colorado State University. She thrives in the continuous learning environment of veterinary medicine and is particularly passionate about surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Raimundo enjoys spending time outdoors with her pets. Her dog, Riley, has accompanied her on moves across multiple states and even the Caribbean, while her cat, Mowgli, loves to join their adventures in a harness. Whether it’s hiking, biking, paddleboarding, or relaxing at the beach, Dr. Raimundo embraces an active lifestyle and cherishes time with family and friends.
